What Is The Octave Terp Timer And How Does It Work?

Yeah, if you’re new to this you have no idea what we’re talking about and that’s exactly why we made this video. You’re probably wondering what’s a terp is in the first place. Relax, “terp” isn’t a real word, it’s just an abbreviation for terpene. Are things starting to click?

So a Terp Timer, isn’t exactly a timer, it’s really a temperature gauge for your banger. Most concentrates have an ideal temperature in which they should be consumed, so knowing the temperature of your banger is really important; too hot and you’ll destroy your throat, too cool and you don’t get much of a hit, so the right temperature is key, but how do you know when your banger is at the right temp?

That’s what the Octave Terp Timer is for. No more guessing! You set your desired temperature and when it’s ready, the Octave will sound an alarm, letting you know it’s time to put your concentrates in and dab away. It’s very easy to use and looks cool anywhere you put it.

Steps to the ideal dabbing experience:

• Turn on the Octave Terp Timer by pressing the power button (in the front) for 3 seconds.
• Choose your degree type: Press both arrow buttons together to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• Set the alarm: Use the set button and arrows to turn the alarm on and off. We recommend you use the alarm, because that way you don’t need to be staring at the LED screen all the time. It will just beep when it’s ready.
• Set your desired temperature: Press the set button again and then use the arrows to adjust it to your favorite dabbing temperature.
• Torch your banger.
• Place the Octave Terp Timer under your banger using the laser to align it properly.
• Prep your dab while you wait or do whatever. The Octave will beep when your banger has reached the right temperature.
• When the alarm sounds, go take a dab!
• Enjoy the perfect dabbing experience.
