Does it come filled with butane?

No. The Hurricane ships unfilled. Add high-quality, refined butane before first use.

What kind of butane should I use?

Use premium, highly refined butane (5x or better). It helps prevent clogging and ensures a smooth, consistent flame.

How do I refill it?

Set flame to minimum and engage the safety lock off. Turn the torch upside down, press the butane nozzle firmly into the fill valve for a few seconds, then let the torch rest 3–5 minutes so the gas stabilizes before lighting.

How do I adjust the flame?

Use the flame adjustment wheel/knob at the base (or side) of the torch. Turn toward “+” for a larger flame, “–” for a smaller one.

Can it run hands-free?

Yes. Engage the safety lock/ignition hold to keep the flame on without holding the trigger. Always supervise the torch when the flame is locked on.

Is the flame windproof?

It’s a wind-resistant single jet designed to perform in breezy conditions. Extremely strong winds may still affect performance.

Is it safe to use for dabs?

Yes. The focused jet and adjustable control make it suitable for heating bangers and other concentrate setups. Always heat glass/metal safely and keep flammables away.

Why won’t it ignite after filling?

Allow the torch to rest a few minutes post-fill, then try again at a lower flame setting. If needed, purge trapped air by briefly pressing the fill valve (unlit) to release excess gas/air, then refill with high-quality butane.
