Bring a little piece of the forest to your glass collection with the Empire Glassworks Mossy Log Dry Pipe. This individually handcrafted glass hand pipe transforms a weathered woodland log into functional borosilicate art, complete with intricate lampwork details, colorful forest-inspired accents, and UV-reactive elements that reveal even more character under ultraviolet light.
Measuring approximately 4.5" × 3" × 1.5", the Mossy Log offers a substantial handheld shape without becoming oversized. A left-side carb gives you direct airflow control, while its detailed sculptural construction makes the piece just as appealing on display as it is in use.
Empire Glassworks is known for combining detailed glass artwork with functional smoking pieces, and the Mossy Log is a perfect example. Each pipe is individually hand-crafted, giving the sculpted log, foliage, and surrounding decorative details the character of a small functional art piece rather than a mass-produced glass pipe.
The Mossy Log features detailed lampwork glass decoration that creates the textured, layered appearance of a miniature forest scene. Multiple glass colors and sculpted elements are worked directly into the design, giving the pipe impressive depth and detail from nearly every angle.
UV-reactive details give the Mossy Log another visual dimension under ultraviolet light. Empire Glassworks specifically highlights the piece's UV-reactive Illuminati Eyes, creating bright glowing accents that stand out from the natural forest-inspired color palette.
The Mossy Log is made from borosilicate glass, the heat-resistant glass material commonly used for quality hand pipes. Its sturdy construction supports everyday function while allowing Empire Glassworks to incorporate the detailed shapes, colors, and lampwork that define the piece.
A left-side carb hole gives you direct control over airflow while using the pipe. Cover the carb while drawing and release it when you're ready to clear the chamber, providing the familiar operation of a traditional glass hand pipe.
Measuring approximately 4.5" long × 3" wide × 1.5" high, the Mossy Log has enough size to showcase its detailed glasswork while remaining comfortable to handle. Empire Glassworks lists the piece at approximately 102 grams.
The Mossy Log is made by Empire Glassworks in California, where the brand creates its collection of distinctive handcrafted functional glass. Each piece reflects the brand's focus on original designs, intricate sculptural detail, and individually crafted glasswork.
The combination of detailed lampwork, UV-reactive elements, nature-inspired styling, and individual hand craftsmanship makes the Mossy Log especially appealing to collectors. Small variations from piece to piece are part of the character of handcrafted glass and help make each Mossy Log feel unique.
