The Empire Glassworks Bomber Spoon Pipe packs playful character and handcrafted glasswork into a compact 4-inch dry pipe. Designed around a rounded bomb-inspired body, this individually crafted piece combines colorful sculpted details with the familiar function of a classic glass spoon pipe.
Handmade in California from borosilicate / Pyrex glass, the Bomber measures approximately 4" long × 1.5" wide and weighs about 80 grams. Its worked glass body, dimensional feet, and fuse-style detailing give it the look of functional glass art rather than a basic everyday hand pipe.
Empire Glassworks is known for turning colorful sculpted glass into functional pieces with distinctive character. Each Bomber Pipe is individually handcrafted, so subtle variations in color, shape, and glasswork are part of the handmade nature of the piece.
The centerpiece of the design is the rounded worked Bomber body. Sculpted glass details give the pipe its recognizable character while transforming the traditional spoon-pipe format into a compact display-worthy art piece.
At approximately 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, the Bomber offers the portability of a small spoon pipe without sacrificing its detailed glasswork. The compact footprint makes it easy to handle, store, or add to a collection of handcrafted dry pipes.
The Bomber is made from borosilicate / Pyrex glass, a material commonly used for quality functional glass because of its resistance to thermal stress and its ability to hold detailed colors and sculpted forms.
More than a simple dry pipe, the Bomber is designed as an individually handcrafted glass art piece. The sculpted body and colorful worked details make it especially appealing to collectors who want functional glass with a playful personality.
Despite its novelty appearance, the Bomber uses the familiar layout of a traditional glass spoon pipe. Its compact hand-pipe format makes it straightforward to use while allowing the sculpted body to remain the visual focus.
Empire Glassworks creates its functional glass in California, combining traditional glassworking techniques with character-driven designs and detailed sculpted elements. The Bomber reflects that approach with a handmade body that blends function and collectible artwork.
The Bomber is a strong choice for anyone looking for something more distinctive than a standard clear spoon. Its compact dimensions make it practical as a hand pipe, while the detailed glass construction gives it enough personality to earn a place on display.
