• - How do you clean an e-rig?

  To clean an e-rig, remove the heating coil and use rubbing alcohol to loosen the gunk. Doing this after each use will keep it in optimal condition. It’s a good idea to test the alcohol on a small area first; also avoid using alcohol on the rubber surfaces or “o rings.”

  A standard temperature range for an electric dab rig is between 450 and 700 degrees Fahrenheit. This range allows you to precisely control the temperature of your dabs. A lot comes down to your personal preference, so experiment within these temperatures for your best result. Higher temperatures produce more vapor, whereas lower temperatures produce less vapor but more flavorful hits.

• - What’s the difference between an e-rig and an e-nail?

  An e-rig is a fully contained, electronic water pipe for heating and vaporizing concentrates and simulates a traditional dab rig. An e-nail is an electronic accessory that fits into a traditional glass rig. It uses a coil heated by a PID (Temperature Controller) usually plugged into a wall. This heats the e-nail to an exact temperature for vaporizing the concentrate.

  Compared to a wax pen, an electric rig is a more sophisticated setup for fully enjoying your concentrates. It provides more control over the process and includes water cooling, but that all still comes in a semi-portable package.

• - How high do you fill the water bubbler on an e-rig?

  When it comes to the amount of water used in an e-rig, it can be a trial-and-error process. Fill the chamber with water so that it’s just above the percolator. From here, try the rig to see if it’s enough. If there’s too much airflow but not enough bubbling, add a little more water; f you accidentally drink water when inhaling, it’s too much.
